Dr.ir. Bas van Vliet
Associate Professor
Environmental Sociologist. Fields of research expertise: socio-technical environmental change; sanitation, water, waste and energy infrastructures and management. Other fields of expertise: curriculum development (Urban) Environmental Sciences, Principal Investigator at Amsterdam Institute of Advanced Metropolitan Solutions
Jordan Young MSc
PhD candidate
Bart has a background in Public Administration & Organizational Sciences, with a specialization in Communications, Policy & Management from Utrecht University. In his studies, Bart employed ethnographic research on the cultural value of dance in Surinam and studied the involvement of young people in the decision-making in the province of Utrecht. For his MSc-thesis, he conducted a discourse analysis of Dutch parliamentary debates regarding climate policy.
Dr. Tamara Metze
Associate Professor
Trained in Political Science and Science and Technology Studies with a PhD from the University of Amsterdam in Public Administration. Her research interests are the (im)possibility of democratic innovations. With special interest in boundary objects, boundary work, framing, traveling of facts and uncertainties, scenario development, communities of practice in energy controversies, environmental policies, food policies, and urban planning.
Dr. Simone Haarbosch
Post Doc
Opgeleid aan de Avans Hogeschool in Urban Studies en een Master van de Radboud Universiteit in Human Geography. Gepromoveerd aan de University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
